Design Tip - Consider Colour

Colour gives emotion to design so be sure you're on the right track with your selection. Blue and green, for example, convey confidence, while red implies forward thinking. Be careful when selecting trendy colours, while hot pink was popular in the 80's it will look very dated in today’s market.

Branching out in Sydney
Brigidine College

Brigidine College is a Catholic College for girls, established in 1901 and situated in Randwick, Sydney, Australia. Blueriver Creative initially assisted the College in developing a series of print advertisements and then went on to design and develop a visual template that could be used for the College’s communications. These templates are now applied on a wide range of business documents and have helped strengthen the College’s identity.
The impending opening of the College’s Cullen Centre was an important milestone for the College. It is an impressive Centre comprising a Sport and Assembly hall, three classrooms and a capacious veranda that is shaded by historic Moreton Bay fig trees.
Visitors to the foyer of the Centre are educated about the history of Christina Cullen. Blueriver Creative was delighted to work with the College, designing for them a series of visual display boards for the foyer of the newly constructed Centre. Each board stands over seven feet tall and gives a visual narrative of Christina's life to the audience supported by a series of photographs and selected memorabilia. The final display panels are mounted behind large clear acrylic sheets in the foyer in order to protect the story for future generations.
